We came into the marketplace to get souvenirs for people at home. It was easy to navigate and nice and open. There were great shops and bars all over the place.

Usual stuff here... local collectables... alot of jewelry shops. In the process of fixing up after the hurricanes. There are many people working here so it should be ready soon. Most stores open at 11ish... so dont cone too early.

A must stop when on Grand Bahama Island known for their Coconut Daiquiri island style served in a coconut for just $7.00. Very quaint shopping mall great for purchasing a gift or souvenir. Its local cuisine and tasty restaurants make the trip worthwhile.

Looks like it could be a lot of fun but most places closed in low season. Food is generally expensive for the quality and service - its a tourist trap

A previous visitor (from Sweden) answered this question correctly. However, if you return to the island for a longer stay, many of the hotels provide a shuttle to and from the market daily. Enjoy!
