This is a fun place to visit to get to know the area. It is important to note there are some persons who will try to sell you things but isn't that what we go there for? In addition, it is important to support the locals since they are continuing to rebound from the hurricane.

The marketplace has several stores, restaurants and bars. It also has a crafts area and a straw market, although I saw very few straw items in the straw market. Most of the restaurants have their menus posted so you can look at them before going in. We ate at 6 or 7 of the restaurants and did not find any... More

Both the marketplace and the Marina beside is probably one of the best places to have something to eat. Shopping is not great, but probably it has something to do with the whole island.

Not much there, over priced, in an industrial area. Avoid, had major hurricane damage, and huts were built in the meantime.

Very relaxing shopping experience, lots to buy but most of the shops carry the same stuff.... I like the square by the port, and there's this little fried fish stand that has decent food, it's worth to try!

Liked the restaurants and shops. Be aware that many of the vendors in the straw market are quite aggressive. Funny how I only bought things from the ones who left me alone to shop.

The marketplace offers good duty free shopping and lots of local vendors as well. I really liked the open entertainment area...good music and vibe. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from.

The place is located adiacently a water way, with several nice shoops located on typical wood structures of various colors. Prices are cheapper than continent due to free port and personnel are very kind with you.

Just a lot of shops selling tshirts and tourist souvenirs...fine for small kids. Restaurants are great especially Agave and Zorba's. Great place to pickup booze and beer and find charters or island adventures. For a private Charter ask for Muff or BJ...you can chat with Da Conch man and his staff. Do NOT go to this location seeking the Lucayan... More

Nice straw market. The venders are not pushy. Had a nice time. We were supposed to go snorkeling, but it was to rough. So we did this instead.
