Been visiting this beach for 25 years now. Never really crowded and always friendly people. Be sure to bring a plastic bag...often times locals dive for lobster and bring them onshore for sale. Nice and friendly beach bar as well.

The sand is white and clean and it never gets hot. The beach is peaceful and wonderful. The ocean is worm and fun.

Just do it, you need to experience yourself. Quiet, serene & all the flavor & romance of the Bahamas.

The water is shallow and has good snorkeling not far out. We took drinks to the beach to save money (no glass). Had lots of fun and sun. This is a very easy beach to park at and enjoy.

Probably one of the best beaches close to the city but it is a little bit remote. Quiet and very nice.

Lots of colorful coral and marine life. Great for a new scuba diver. Recommend going with Sunn Odyssey.

Silverpoint is about a 20-30 bus ride from the port. Bus will be about $1.25 and can drop you off at the Lucayan Market. From there there are several beaches just a short walk away, and you can also do some shopping and eat... More

They have them but it is first come first serve. So if you want one you might want to put your Grand Lucayan swimming towel on one and save it. I saw many people doing that and it did work. My friend and I got one that way... More
