Great snorkelling!

This was a great beach and very quiet! The snorkelling was excellent around the little island. You need to take water and food as it's a bit of a hike to the nearest restaurant.

This beach was absolutely beautiful. It was nice to done here at low and high tide and to see the difference. At low tide, you can walk pretty far, even almost all the way to the island, at high tide it gets deep quickly. There are some shells at this beach and there were always people around, but not too... The beach and the water, Spectacular! The quiet, the water lapping, the cloudless sky, I could live here and never want for any other place.....

During our stay on Eleuthera the winds were strong and blowing from the East which meant the Atlantic side was rough and the beaches very windy. We had kids ages 9 -14 with us. We decided to go to Gouldings Cay beach. This is a wonderful picture perfect beach with very shallow water. At mid and low tide you can... More

If you want a secluded beach this isn't for you, but if you can put up with 5-10 people sharing this lovely beach it's incredible. I guess it's kept clean by The Cove and residents. Lovely spot. Perfectly clear, calm water.

A little bit of heaven on earth. The water is clear and warm, the fish are plentiful (for viewing while snorkeling!), it is uncrowded and the sand is so soft...what a wonderful place!

This is right across the street from Daddy Joe's. It's a great lli quiet beach with a lil island out in the water. You can walk most of the distance. The snorkeling wasn't that great - - saw only a couple fish - - several lil ones, a sea cucumber, a nice starfish. We saw a few jelly fish so... More

Gaulding Cay is a great spot for beginning snorkelers. It is not very deep and you can walk/swim out to the cay and go all the way around it safely. There are fish but the day we were there in August not a lot of them...still worth the trip.

This beach was good for a short stop on our way back to our rental from visiting Glass Window Bridge. There was quite a bit of seaweed on this beach and lacked the privacy of many other beaches due to the number of homes located on the beach. This would be a 5-star beach most other places, but it pales... More

This is a public access beach and perfectly nice, but after being to lighthouse beach and the Cove, this one seemed a bit more run down. But lots of locals, a cool island to swim out to and some good snorkeling. Good for kids.
