I was touring South Wales and as a keen baker I decided to visit the mill out of curiosity of times past , and hopefully make a purchase to try in my breadmaker. Its a very small building , one room with the millstone and a few bits and pieces for sale., and a room upstairs. After some time the... More

Ashamed to say we have never done the mill visit but have popped in here many tines, often on our way back home after a holiday, to buy flour. Miller is a lovely chap to talk to and his flour is superb for baking bread. Always pleased to be able to buy spelt too.

The Miller just dropped what he was doing and was more than happy to show us round his pride and joy ( the mill was abandoned when he bought it and he has spent some time and £effort restoring it to working order). Well worth a visit and only £2.50 for an adult to visit.

What a lovely tour and the gentleman knew so much about his trade. It was a one to one tour and you were allowed to take as many photos as you wanted and was certainly not rushed. Well worth the stop.

Lovely place, beautifully set within the village. Nice to see mill working from water to grain and a great guide. To call him guide is of course to sell him short as he's the miller and the guy who restored the mill back in early 80's. This is not a big operation tour or anything but I prefer that -... More
