Thanks for your support during 2017 and for making our gallery into a community rather than just a work space. Art and photography gallery with attached cafe open most of the year. Working studio of Cuban artist Raul Speek and photographer Heather Bennett exhibiting local and international art and providing workshop for all ages and sizes of group. Live music often being played by Raul on piano. Cafe offers delicious cakes and drinks suitable for all the family. Some gluten free usually available. Maybe ring ahead if you have special requirements and we will try to help you. Some evening events including jazz and music evenings, talks on art and book launches please see website for these. Now that Anna is back working with us we will be open 7 days a week from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm. (April to end September) Over the Winter each year we close for several months but we live on the premises so if you want to speak to either of please give us a ring. Thank you.

Thank you for taking time to send in a review. Glad we were welcoming too - sometimes when we are rushed it is diffcult to talk tom people properly or for enough time and I find that upsetting. Hope to see you again if you...More

Colourful Cuban art and music combine to make this a place with real atmosphere. There are lovely books for sale, an art exhibition as well as a beautiful little cafe adjoining the pretty garden which is full of sculpture and bric-a-brac. A little treasure trove...More

This is somewhere really special - a little bit of the Caribbean brought to Solva in a lovely garden to sit and while away an hour or so. The food isn't bad at all, the service is friendly, but it's the situation which will bring...More

Thank you for your review. We are always a bit worried about how different the gallery and work is although most people seem to like it. Glad you like the situation and hope to see you again. Pembrokeshire is a very special place and it...More

The gallery is very bohemian with live music and a light airy feel. The artwork is beautiful. There is a cafe but we didn't use the facilities.

Hope the music was not too loud! Raul gets a bit carried away some times. Thank you for your review. Heather

This has to be one of the most curious and most fulfilling to visit of all the galleries and cafes in Pembrokeshire. Owned and curated by a real independent thinker - Raul is an attraction in himself. Talk to him about his art and about...More

Glad you enjoyed your visit here. We have been here 21 years now and still love Pembrokeshire so its great when someone visiting does too. Raul says hello and that he really enjoyed talking with you. Take care and come again! Best wishes Heather

Warm welcome from Heather, showing us around some of the art works which caught our eye. A treat for creative spirits with an interesting variety of local work.

Enjoyable chat with the owners while we tucked into delicious cakes and tea. And a water bowl for our dog, offered very kindly without our asking. The owners were really friendly and chatty (especially Raul, whose piano playing was a fantastic extra).More
