You can walk or as many do, get a taxi to the top of the hill and Hamilton Fort. You get a great view and there are a few canons there, as per the pictures, but that is it.

Maybe it's my previous experiences with other forts, but I wasn't too impressed with this. It's basically a small circle with a few cannons and a Hut. That being said, the view from the fort is spectacular and so is the breeze. It's a nice place to just go and relax... On top of the world.

Very small fort, it's really a turret with 2 English and three French cannons. Very limited info and drive up needs an expert to navigate road which is two strips of poorly maintained concrete. We called here as part of an organised tour, spent max of 10 mins looking at fantastic views of harbour before moving on.

Kind of hard to get to, once there it is a sign and some cannons. Appreciate the history of it but ultimately will take about 10 minutes of time to see :-)

The easy climb to the sight of the old fort was well worth the effort and very achievable in your own time. The views from the top were good those from just before the top were even better. With just a few cannon remaining it is the view you walk to see not the fort.

We went to this location on a tour. It was nice but it takes about three minutes of time. It is Ok. But don't go out of your way to see it.

We drove up to the ....fort? There was a low wall about 20 feet long with 5 canons. There was no information. The drive was treacherous to just see 5 canons. The view was very good of the harbor inlet. I guess that why they put the canons up there.
