We were lucky enough to stay on the property next to the pool. We went to the pool nearly every day. We went at high tide, low tide…just to soak this in. The tide pool sits inside the roaring Atlantic Ocean. When the tide comes in it fills and you can watch the ocean moving all around you as you sit in this lil oasis. There is a walking boardwalk to the pool at Moonshine restaurant and rock stairs into the pool. Bring your camera it’s truly amazing!

Next to Cape Santa Maria, Dean's Blue Hole to me this place was the top 3 of the must see and experience things on Long Island! They are all scenic and unique in their own world - here is no different, a huge "natural" pool carved out in the rocky shoreline fed by the roaring Atlantic Ocean - something absolutely special!
There is a resort/restaurant near by but anybody can access this pool - it's for whomever visits this Stella Marris community - very scenic boardwalk too - I didnt expect to see any of this and I was thrilled we did it, as the first time we visited Long Island we skipped this place - do not make the same mistake!
Make sure to visit during the first part of the day when the sun hits the pool, otherwise it will be all in the shade - trusts me it makes a huge difference, we actually visited the 2nd time to witness the early hours of sun making it look prettier :)
TIP: park closer to the Moonshine Bar at SMR and take the pathway that is marked to the Erna's Nature Pool - can't miss it
