Three of us, plus we'll behaved Springer Spaniel visited intending to lunch. Being a very cold day we asked for an inside table for three and "do you mind if we bring the dog in?" Our request was met with a frosty "No dogs allowed" - no further discussion, no alternatives. Being mature dog owners we don't expect every establishment... More

So, I do not play golf so my review is simply a short one to state that the aesthetic of the course and it's position with views across to Dunstanburgh Castle are breath-taking. Whether a player or not, well worth a look - as a photographer, especially inns

Played here whilst on holiday in the area. We used a web offer from the Clubs web site and had coffee & bacon roll and golf for £20 each. A good old fashioned links course with some interesting undulations on the greens. A great test of your golf. Some stunning views as you work your way round the course. A... More

A very hard course, which lets you get away with nothing! A foot or so off the line and you can say goodbye to your expensive ball. The first 5 holes are quite open and whilst difficult, are enjoyable for even the average golfer..the next 13..well..if you're an accurate driver, you will get by, but if not..as for me the... More

Complete rip off, after booking a tee time the day before and travelling over 40 miles for a game of Golf they changed the rules and basically wanted to Double the price that was Quoted on the telephone the previous day. I will not be playing here again as the very Abrupt attitude of the staff instead of trying to... More

Fan blinking tastic course, club house is the friendliest you will EVER find. This is a true gem...if you golf and don't go, then you haven't golfed properly. Go, you'll thank me.

Always worth stopping at this club house for a cup of tea or coffee and a quick bite to eat when we are in the area for a walk along the beach. Today I had a cheese scone and my husband raved about the bacon sandwich. Reasonably priced and very friendly service.

This golf course is a hidden gem and very welcoming. Although there is no pro shop the staff that looked after both the golf and the restaurant clubhouse couldn't have been more helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our golf and the pleasant clubhouse after for a drink.
