The quickest way up is the steps, but these are quite steep. There is a path around the side which is easier, but can be slippery when coming down after rain. It is worth doing this however as the views are amazing, and the fort...More

We were staying in Brean and walked along the beach to Brean downs. It is a bit steep going up the steps but well worth it for the view

Went on a sunny day and took my friend who had never been there. Completely forgot how many steps there were but it’s nice to get some exercise. Didn’t do the whole bit of Brean down but went to the War bits at the end...More

I think you can park in front of the bird farm. Why not climb up to uphill church and watch from there .....the view is the same and parking free.

Yes. The number 20 bus goes to Brean Beach from Western-super-Mare. From the bus stop it’s a 10 walk to Brean Down.

If you are going to the beach then you drive down into the beach and park, we paid £3 there are steps if you wish to climb up, I didn't as I don't like heights!
