This cafe is awful, poor quality food, slow service, grumpy staff, disgusting toilets. Not what you’d expect from a national trust cafe. Will never return.

After a coffee in the Cove Cafe we walked up onto Brean Down and visited the fort. It was a fresh November day with few visitors about, and we were completely alone as we explored the deserted fort and watched birds for half an hour....More

Lovley walk nice that they offer all terrain mobility scooters so those of us who are less able can still enjoy the walk nice walk able to do with pushchairs as well though you wouldn’t want little stroller wheels

Staying close by and being National Trust Members we visited the headland. A vast expanse of beach with rockpools to investigate. A very steep walk up onto the headland with views over the Bristol Channel. Nice little National Trust shop and cafe with friendly staff.

So beautiful, the walk and the views is breathtaking, but I would say to take lots to drink because it’s very long , it’s amazing to see the cows just around

A great place to visit in the right weather. If NT members, be careful to park in the first car park near the NT cafe, where there is no fee for members. Car park further down is not NT and you’ll have to pay £2....More

Whatever your age or physical state if you find yourself at the foot of Brean Down... get to the top. Take the steps slowly if you must but once on the top the view is worth it. Go on... get up there.

We visited Brean Down and the fort as Storm Callum was passing. It made for a very windy trip. However, we had a lovely afternoon there. We parked easily, possibly because it was October. Parking cost £3.00 for the day. There is a cafe directly...More

I don't think so, my grandsons love crabbing but we certainly didn't see any areas you could have done it in, sorry it's not an exact answer!

I think you can park in front of the bird farm. Why not climb up to uphill church and watch from there .....the view is the same and parking free.

Yes. The number 20 bus goes to Brean Beach from Western-super-Mare. From the bus stop it’s a 10 walk to Brean Down.
