We booked a half day mossy tour. We started at the tea plantation view points, then BOH and then the Mossy Forest.
Our guide, Nasil (I think) was amazing. He knew a lot about the tea, but a lot more about the Flora everywhere. He kept looking out of the carwindow, to find flowers or leaves, which he knew stories about.
We had zero regrets booking this tour, we had an amazing time!
Also, dont forget to tip Nasil, as he loves buying food for the stray dogs and cats, to feed them.

Absolutely fabulous tour and great value for money. We joined with another group and the two guides (sorry didn't capture their names) were really knowledgeable, friendly and a good laugh. We learnt so much and saw some beautiful scenery. Don't forget to take a jacket and wear trousers as it's significantly colder at the top of the mountain!. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Highlands.

Excellent tour provided by Balla. He was on time, ran through our itinerary, and helped us modify so we spent more time where we wanted to be, and less where we didn't. He especially provided us with knowledge regarding the plants and animals, particularly at the mossy forest and tea plantations.
This tour really checks all the boxes for a tourist experience in Cameron Highlands, and I recommend it over trying to piece it together using taxis.
Be warned: the jeeps are a tight squeeze. They seat eight in the rear section (bench seats facing each other) and one in the front, for a total of nine tourists and the driver. This is way too tight to be packed in with strangers, especially with COVID still being a concern. Spring for the private tour so you have better comfort and can help plan your best day! It is worth it!

We did the half day tour with mossy forest & Boh tea plantation.
It was not the "original" mossy forest that was closed due to landslide but another one, that was more challenging as we had to hike though some rough terrain; we would never have found the way on our own or even dared to go there without a guide. It was lots of fun.
In Boh tea plantation, you can't visit the plant itself since covid, but the site is still well worth a visit.
They were very reactive through whatsapp to arrange the booking in the evening for a tour the following morning. We got picked up at our hotel, in a good car. Our guide Apu was very knowledgeable and pleasant and made our visit even more interesting, explaining the history of the places, showing various plants and their use during the hike, etc.

We did a Sunrise Tour and it was great! We were picked up and dropped off at our hostel. Our guide Appu gave a lot of information and added a good dose of humour. Would 100% recommend.

We did the sunrise tour which was amazing! Included transport from accom, drive to the sunrise spot, tea plantation visit & mossy forest visit which included a very insightful nature walk on the way up. Definitely recommend this if you're in Cameron Highlands

Wonderful experience! We did the Mossy Forrest Tour. Appu was a terrific guide, gave a lot of explanation (especially about the plants) with a good sense of humour. Would 100% recommend if you want a fair, interesting and honest guide!

Sorry, most of the part you cant use the wheel chair, for example the walk in wooden trek in forest.

I will be in Ipoh from March 29-31. I am solo person travelling (female), was wondering if a day trip is good for Cameron Highlands? Also, is there a train or bus that takes you to the main hub and then you can hire a taxi? Btw, what's a reasonable cost to hire taxi to take you around CH?
or it is better to just hire a tour company from Ipoh to take you and bring back? I really enojoy hiking and being outdoor checking out cool spots. I hear this tour guide was amazing, could you please give me some more information?

Hi, you have to be in the highlands a day before to safe cost and time. You can join the tours that is organised in the highlands aswell.

Hi we are coming to Cameron soon, 2 of us, hope to have a private driver to take us to roam around the various POI. From 22 Mar till 23 Noon. Hope the driver can fetch us to Ipoh airport late noon on 23 Mar or arranging connecting transport to airport.
We are interested in visiting places of nature, trails, fruit farm, garden and golf course. No temple nor musium, Just an orientation tour as we might return in future for a longer stay.
Pls advise availability of driver and charges. English and Chinese speaking prefered.
