We did the Cameron Valley Descent trek with Jason. It was one of the best tours we have ever done in our many years of travel. Jason was an excellent knowledgeable and professional guide with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the local flora and fauna as well as local culture history and politics. I think he genuinely might know more about the Cameron Highlands and its nature and wildlife than anyone else in the world. The trail itself was tough but manageable for anyone with minimal hiking experience. Jason will adapt the speed so all members feel comfortable and can help you at any challenging parts. You will get muddy but it is definitely worth it. Snacks are provided. The trip to the tea plantation at the end was very interesting, there is no at all to buy anything and you have plenty of free time to take photos or eat cake. Finally, Jason sends you pictures and an information leaflet about what you saw on the walk which is very informative and interesting, Overall, an incredibly memorable day thanks to Jason, it felt like a real achievement completing the walk and we learnt a lot. Thank you very much Jason!…

I took the Cameron Valley Descent trek. It was a brilliant trek and I enjoyed it immensely! Jason's talent is remarkable! I really appreciated it. His understanding and passion for nature is extremely deep, and his desire to share it with people is a boon for all! The rain made it even more memorable, and Jason certainly watched out for our safety through the rough terrain. For me, it was more than a jungle trek but a journey through nature filled with tension in its eyes on human-kind, history, culture and political intrigue! I look forward to joining another curated journey with Cameron Secrets again the next time I visit Cameron Highlands.…

Stumbled upon this tour by chance, right as I asked the front desk for activity recs, they mentioned the long haired man outside was just about to start a hiking tour. During the hike Jason was so awesome, passionate, energetic, and incredibly knowledgeable about all things Cameron. Any one of us in the tour could ask about any random aspect about the environment around us and he would give us tons of interesting facts and information about it, it was astounding! As a person, Jason is very kind and interesting, telling us about his life's adventures and connecting with his guests on a deeper level than one might expect from a nature guide. The nature we saw throughout the moderate hike was beautiful and diverse. We really got into the nitty gritty of trekking up and down the jungle, with the cherry on top being luscious tea fields at the end. If Jason lead a 2 week expedition, I would drop everything and go! Thank you so much, this was an unforgettable experience.…

Half day private trekking with family (2 adults and 2 kids of 9 and 11y old). Was great and our guide - Jason - was fantastic. The best we’ve had on SE Asia so far. He was fun and really knowledgeable about the jungle and plants. Would definitely recommend.
