Nov 2022 • Friends
Joined a half day tour on Fri 18th Nov 2022 for 02 person.
Places to visit:
- Visit to BOH Tea Plantation
- Visit to Sg. Palas Tea Centre
- Visit to Butterfly Farm
- Hiking to Coral Hill
- Visit to Strawberry Farm
The tour was guided by Mr Ahmad who drove us around with Range Rover. A small group of 6 person, he started to fetch us directly at hotel/homestay. Admire his history knowledge of Cameron Highlands so as his English level and vocabulary. He suggested me and a friend to rest at Time Tunnel while waiting others hiking at Coral Hill as am unable to join due to health condition.
Not forgotten, greatly thanks to Mr Ahmad who promptly responded to contact his friends who stay nearby the area to assist us when we were stranded somewhere in C.H late night with heavily downpour after failed to hail cab for almost an hour.

We booked a private tour (350 MYR) and were very happy with Ahmad whose knowledge and passion for the Cameron Highlands made the area come alive. You can tailor make your tour and Ahmad asks what you'd like to see in the afternoon. We did the Boh tea fields and factory which Ahmad led us through with great knowledge and insight. In fact other visitors tagged onto our group to learn about the tea making process. He accompanied us to the top of the lockout at the Mossey Forest explaining everything as he went. Nothing was too much trouble and he happily stopped for any photo opportunities. His English is excellent and he is a skilled driver on challenging roads.
I highly recommend booking Ahmad for an informative and fascinating tour.

We had a nice day tour with our guide. He isn't certainly not a person whom would take unnecessary risks. Letting other cars pass us so he could drive further at ease is something he did on several occasions. He told all sorts of facts without making it a whole sermon. Along the way and from, he gave some explanations so that there was room to enjoy the panorama. On some locations he took us apart so that we wouldn't be overwhelmed by other (loudly) groups in order he could do his work anyway. Occasionally he asked some questions which refreshed our attention monotonous and thus will continue to hang things better than just skimmer. There was from the beginning till the end room for a joke's self mocking e.g.' sorry to sound like a broken radio ''.
He was even so sweet that he suggested to drop at the bus stop without asking for it.

Went on a bird-watching tour with Kali. We get to see the sunrise on tea plantations (breathtaking), and birds at 3 different spots. Very pleasant moment with an experienced and passionate local guide. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend taking a tour while in Cameron highlands, you will pretty much see everything worth seeing within half a day. This company in particular were fantastic! I had Ahmed as a guide and he was absolutely brilliant. Not only was he able to answer any questions he got asked about Cameron Highlands but he thought me so many facts about the earth too, he is so knowledgeable I would highly recommend him!!

We spent half a day exploring the mossy forest and strawberry farm, BOH tea plantations in Cameron Highlands. The highlight of the trip was most certainly our tour guide, Ahmed. He's incredibly knowledgeable and a great storyteller - unlike other tours we observed, we never felt rushed and he really took his time to explain the history of the place and people. If you're looking for a genuine guide who's interested in educating visitors about his homeland, rather than getting commission from souvenir shops, he's your guy!

After reading all the reviews I booked a half day trip. We requested for Mr. Ibrahim but some other driver was there. We covered all the places but I saw that other guides were accompanying their guests and they were given so much information. We were however only taken from one place to other and we explored on our own. I was expecting more of a guided tour however it turned out like hiring a car which will take you places. Lastly, the driver asked us to be dropped at the strawberry farm and call our driver to pick us from there. Our private driver was waiting in tannah ratta. So if he comes to brinchang when the traffic flux is at peak towards brinchang and then we go to tannah ratta it will take lots of time. So we asked him to drop us at TJ Nur Travels office where our car was parked. Overall I did not find the driver very friendly and informative. I read soo many good reviews about this company and expected more. But we covered all the spots. First, we went to Boh tea plantation then mossy forest and last strawberry farm. We did not go to the butterfly farm by choice.

Hello all,
A quick question, is it necessary to bring rubber shoes for the Rm 50 tour, as there is a short hike?
Thanks in advance.

Flat shoes or substantial sandles. Can be damp and slippery and there are gentle slopes to navigate. Have fun it was great.
