This is a lovely church on top of a hill in Tanah Rata. Free to visit for public. Garden is well kept and place is breezy. We attended Sunday mass here at 8.30am. A serene and relaxing place, perfect for meditation.

We were staying in a hotel that was just a stone's throw away from this beautiful church. I love the way the church is built with beautiful and spacious landscaped lawns and the sense of peace and tranquility I felt when I stepped in! Just wish I could have experienced mass there!

At the church entrance is a huge vase and a very big jar which reminds us of the episode of Elijah with the widow and her son in the desert.
The altar table is 7 feet long (for the 7 sacraments of the Church) ,3 feet wide (for 3 years of Jesus' ministry) and 33mm thick (for the 33 years of Jesus' life).
The backdrop of the sanctuary and its color draws inspiration from the HOUSE OF MARY.
The Cross above the sanctuary is 19 feet high.
The tabernacle is hand crafted from Philippines and the Tabernacle lamp has the shape of a burning heart which glows before us as a heart full of love.
To the left and facing the sanctuary is the 7 feet high statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

My husband and I saw the church from the main road and thought it would be a nice place to visit and spend some time praying or being still. Instead a wedding was in full swing when we arrive and because the grounds are so open anyone can walk right in. The wedding decor made the place look really pretty and there was music filling the sanctuary too. I imagine this place would be great for reflection and quiet contemplation on normal occasions.

My husband and I attended the Sunday 9am mass on our short getaway to Cameron's. The Chapel was walking distance from our hotel and we had a lovely and chilly walk to the chapel. The Chapel is really Beautiful and Peaceful. We had the privilege of meeting the parish priest, Fr Eugene Benedict and a visiting priest, Fr Mari Arokiam, whom I've met when I was very young girl, whom my dad knew very well too. What made the mass more touching was an infant baptism of a baby girl as well as a special blessing on an Indian couple who was celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Something you don't see on a regular weekend mass. After mass, I greeted both the priest and Fr Mari Arokiam gave my husband and I a special blessing. It really made our getaway all the more meaningful for us.

very nicely kept garden! but please note that the mass time as of today 14 Jan 2018 is 8.30am on Sundays. i arrived at 8.50am cuz the other posts (and even the church website) mentioned it starts at 9am, but the priest was already giving homily :/ but he's very nice! i went up to him after mass and asked if there was another mass because i was late for it, he said there's only 1 mass here. he said it's ok, don't worry :)

i've taken photo of the telephone number so if you wana go for mass, just call and check beforehand.

A beautiful church. Besides being lovely and cool it is wonderfully quiet. A wonderful place to listen to God with no distractions. No traffic noise and only the tweeting of the birds as you pray

This is the only Catholic Church in Cameron Highlands and is located in Tanah Ratah. Sited on top of a hill, the original building of the church was built in the early 1930's The interior is beautiful with lovely stained glass. Worth a visit for the lovely views and peace and serenity.

I had the pleasure of meeting Fr. Eugene Benedict at this beautiful church who actually said the mass a second time because I came too late due to being in a wheelchair. The church is right next to Heritage Hotel, you can walk there and the priest was kind enough to give me a ride after back to the hotel since I was in a wheelchair.

The church is located at the end of road (will pass by Barracks Cafe) on a small hill.

Very quiet place for worship. Worth a short visit if you are around Tanah Rata.
