Island of Mljet by motor yacht Elite One

Some people say that Homer, while describing the enchanted island of Ogigia, Ulysses and the nymph Calypso, had the island of Mljet in mind. True or not – this island is today certainly a paradise for those who enjoy untouched nature and absolute tranquility. The main attractions of the island are two saltwater lakes completely surrounded by a thick pinewood forest. Enjoy a boat ride on the larger lake and visit the small island of St. Mary with the 12th century Benedictine monastery. There will be plenty of time for swimming, strolling around the lakes or having lunch in one of the charming local restaurants.

nice beach but please be aware that no dogs are allowed here. Its nice for children since the water is not very deep in the bay though.

This sandy beach is beautiful, but you can not afford to forget your sunscreen, because of no shadows whatsoever.

Nice nature, not much turists, but it seems too much. There is some trash from ignorants turists. But beach and sea are gorgeus.

This is a nice pebble beach in a relatively calm cove with clear waters. Bring beach towels as the lounge chair vendor wasn’t there when we were. Go all the way to the end of the road, there is parking.

Free parking near the beach. You can buy drinks. If you like to relax on the sun and swim in clean water this is the place for you. It was a bit crowdy when we were there but not too much.
