Refreshing Cinema

A gem in Yarraville

A comfortable theatre in the heart of Yarraville. Very Art Deco which adds to the experience and I especially loved that I could take a glass a wine to enjoy with my popcorn !

Worth crossing the bridge for

These cinemas are worth crossing the bridge for! Not only are the movies cheaper here, they have comfortable seats and a good offering at the candy bar. Book and pay online to beat the lines in the foyer.

Classic cinema

Love The Sun Theatre

I come here every trip to Melbourne, such a pretty theatre with a lovely vibe and cheaper than commercial cinemas! Love that you can have a (nice) drink while watching a movie!

Too hot

Totally love the sun theatre, but on a 41 degree day thought it would be nice and cool and comfortable in the theatre. Unfortunately it wasn’t. It was very hot and uncomfortable. Disappointing
