Head to the far left end of the beach for good snorkeling around to the next cove. Restaurants are loud, and serve overpriced and bland food. Bring your own lunch.

Worth the drive from Cabo. Great beach with seaside restaurants. Kinda off the beaten path. Close to la Paz. About 2 hours from Cabo

Tecolote is the beach you will be recommended to visit; however, Balandra may be a better option if you look for something scenic. Tecolote is basically a very long beach with no shade and pretty shallow water. Cafes on the beach are very overpriced; you...More

El Tecolote beach is going to be the closest place were you could get something to eat if you're thinking on visiting Balandra Beach or stay at Tecolote Beach, there are a few restaurants and yours available.

This is a very nice beach with attractive dunes and good sea shell collecting. It is not as well protected as other beaches so it can get a bit windy.

This is a fun spot to visit...it's a little funky though. Rebequita's Tours offers a trip to Espiritu Santo for around $50pp. Cheap beers and beautiful views!

Nice beach but if you go a little farther into the sand dunes you will probably find an empty, or almost empty beach.

This is a really cool little place. The food was fresh, well prepared and on point. Unfortunately, we got the grumpy and snotty server. We will go back because the food was so great. Stay clear of the grumpy guy.

Nice sea glass and swim. It could use some upgrades, the facilities are there, but not the most attractive.

I didn’t rent any skis. The beach is a really long stretch of beach, and the whole area where I was was bare without any rentals and without any umbrellas or chairs. Just pure sand and ocean.

Playa El Tecolote is popular with both RV's and tenters. It is safe as the campers and RVers tend to camp in close proximity to each other. It can get breezy on the beach but is beautiful. There are 4 restaurants on the... More
