6 km walking path in the beach line. Very safe, local peoples dominated, no crowd tourists. Many local restaurants. I enjoyed walking in the malecon. Hope to visit there again.

Couldn't believe how beautiful the water was.. The people are too sweet. They have a few small shops that make you feel like you are in a small secluded city.

The Malecon is a lovely place to take evening strolls, this is when the place came alive because when we were there in August it was way too hot to be out during the day!
