A great place to hang out with the locals. a great assortment of places to dine and shop.We would bike it every day and find a out of the way restaurant to stop at for a treat. There lots of little places tucked away.

I really did not see anything going on at the Malecon. We drove up for the day from San Jose Del Cabo, I loved San Jose Del Cabo a lot better. Don't get me wrong, the ocean was a sight to see.

Really a hidden gem. By far the largest city in BCS. The waterfront is beautiful, especially the clear waist high water that goes out 300 yards before it reaches 2meters. Great for kids to swim in all day. The offer beautiful art and the famous...More

This is a beautiful and scenic malecon (boardwalk) with many lovely statues along the way. There's also a bike path if you like cycling.

I had fun walking along the ocean looking at all of the islands. There are a lot of things to do. Bars, restaurants and shopping. This place is good for the kids also because there places for them to play, playgrounds and museums, I wouldn't...More

Great street to shop, eat, stroll, swim, enjoy the beach, the sights and the people, tourists and natives alike. Restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, bars...the whole gamut is on the Malecon.

During the day there is not a lot going on, but at night there are entertainers and food vendors galore. At the very end there is a small workout area that my son and I enjoyed.

La Paz doesn't have a lot of 5 star hotels with fancy lounges and pools facing the ocean. No hordes of American tourists looking for excitement .It's buildings are old, and there are no mega nightclubs with deafening music pounding away all night. This is...More

The Hotel Blue is where we stayed, the room was very reasonable and included breakfast. It was a couple of blocks from the Malecon. If you are looking for a tour operator, I can highly recommend VIP. Enjoy!

Balandra Beach--our favourite--less than half an hour from la Paz by car. Other beeches right in the city, at either end of Malecon.
