An amazing Malecon, dotted with statues, and bike lanes so we felt safe riding our bikes. Very picturesque with lots of great eating places.

Three miles of sites, sounds, restaurants, sculptures, the best ice cream in town! Lots of tourists, but mostly from the area. A great contrast to the insanity of Cabo. Next time we're going to rent bikes and go all the way up and down it.

It's very nice to walk over there mainly at sunset. Several restaurants and gift shops across the Malecon.

Great way to soak up Mexican seaside resort culture. Note 90% of people on Malecon are Mexican, so this is a refreshing change for anyone seeking antidote to the Cabo Resort experience. Quiet by day, busy at night - even on weekdays. Lots of nice...More

The Malecon is a nice level walkway along the Beach in La Paz. It’s great for bikes, wheelchairs and scooters. Not much shade though. It’s across the street from lots of different restaurants.

It's a nice walk along the Malecon. You'll see lots of shorebirds like pelicans, ibis, herons in the morning and if you are interested in art you'll find more than 10 interesting sculptures. Also very good for morning jogging - you'll even find some fitness...More

La Paz did it right. No highrise hotels blocking the beaches from view. It was a delightful change from Cabo, and San Jose del Cabo where most of the beaches are blocked from view.

The Hotel Blue is where we stayed, the room was very reasonable and included breakfast. It was a couple of blocks from the Malecon. If you are looking for a tour operator, I can highly recommend VIP. Enjoy!

Balandra Beach--our favourite--less than half an hour from la Paz by car. Other beeches right in the city, at either end of Malecon.
