Really a geat show this year for Dia de La Muerte - so glad we made it out that night. The highlight of the evening was probably the Catrinas competition with some absolutely spectacular costumes, and such amazing variety, with Catrinas from all ages. The food was excellent, with dozens of tables and stands. Great family event and quite interesting!

We visited the Theatre for the annual celebration of the Day of the Dead. It was a free show in the open air outside the theatre. There was a couple of great bands singing modern and traditional Mexican music on a huge stage in front of the theatre and around the grounds were the exhibitions of various memorials set up... This building could use an update outside but the inside has a lot to offer the locals. Well worth the visit and your support!

Nice and comfortable! They have concerts and nice events almost every day! In October they have a wonderful event, the Day of the death celebration and it is very nice to see the offerings and the Catrinas (Mexican skeletons) all elegantly dressed! Beautiful, and totally recommend it!

This is the place to be if you are in La Paz for Dia de Los Muertos. Hundreds of people, food booths, extraordinary altars, music, and the roaming Katrinas are not to be missed.
