Under renovations. Not wonderful. Don't waste your time here. Very plain. Not much to see here. There, 100 characters!
A small and unassuming cathedral. Downtown La Paz is not particularly impressive, the town is not my top choice for cultural landmarks. If you are in the area you would find the cathedral difficult to miss.
one of the church towers dates back to the 16th century. Spend some time here. It's a Holy Place. Read the plaques. Wander inside and out. It's a cornerstone of devotion for all the people of La Paz.
We were unable to walk inside because they had a service in progress when we stopped by. We only took a peak from the doors. Nice Cathedral and the plaza in front is nice to sit and have a cup of coffee.
One of the oldest church in La Paz, nice to see the original construction and know the history .If you are staying in Los Cabos or in San Jose, be ready fro a long road trip.

We walked all over the area and loved going inside the cathedral for a look. It is peaceful and quite lovely. Nothing more to it really than just looking around or sitting in a pew to cool off or pray in silence.
We always like to visit places of worship though out the world just for the beautiful architecture! Beautiful exterior with a plaque explaining the churches history. A service was in progress so we just peeked inside and the interior and stained glass was gorgeous.
