First time ever on a ferry with my car. Great service! You have to buy the master cabin package as it's the best deal you can have. Ticket includes some food like dinner and breakfast. Room was clean. I felt safe all the time. Will use Baja Ferries again.

We went to the baja ferries in good hope of getting a ticket to go to la paz from los mochis. On the website this should be a daiky route, except for sundays. In their office the route is also advertised. However, the lady behind the counter informed us that the only option was to go to mazatlan first, and... More

Do not eat on the ferry! Took a ferry from Mazatlan to La Paz and had a cabin booked on 30th September. We didn't have a car. Evening meal consumed on the ferry left us ill for the next 5 days. Ferry left on time. Also arrived on time, but then there was a problem with a ramp so spent... More

We cleared customs and drove our loaded VW to the weighing station, which cost us an additional 176 pesos. This fee was in addition to our car importation fee and bond, freight fee for the car and transport for ourselves (approximately 5,000 pesos, $1US=18.55; note the bond is refundable within a specified time frame, 90 days in our case). With... More

We took the ferry from La Paz to Topolobambo, and then back again. On the way there it was pretty uneventful. We rented a cabin so we could sleep and shower. At one point, I went down to the main cabin, and it was full of people drinking and listening to loud music. Made me glad we had a cabin.... More

We left with 1.5 hour delay and arrived with 3.15 have delay. The cabin though was nice, unfortunately they waked us when the arrival was scheduled in 30 min, but the ferry was delayed another 1.75 h which would have been nice to be able to sleep.

It's a good experience but they need more organization, you loose a lot of time waiting to board and to leave the ferry when you arrive.

The ship is in good maintenance, but the cooling system was not functioning correctly nor blowing cold air. The de-boarding process takes much too long; it took close to 90 mins to to vacate less than 100 passengers.

A very pleasant surprise was how new the boat is. From La Paz to Mazatlan was to take until 9.00 am next morning. Getting on was no problem as not that many passengers. The drinks were cheap and good. Pity about the food. Dinner included in the ticket was as dry as could be. Basic cabin with 4 beds was... More

Very clean - we booked a cabin with shower - slept so very well, dinner is included you just have to queue for your food, but only takes minutes. It takes longer to go through th Customs and Immigration checks and that is not Baja Ferries' fault!!
