Our fifteen-day sea kayak trip from just south of Loreto to a beach northeast of La Paz covered about 145 kilometers on the water. The geology of the Baja coastline and in particular the eastern shore of Isla San Jose is spectacular -- like southern Utah on salt water. We saw a lot of sea life such as flying fish,... More

What an amazing trip we had with Ginni as our guide. Ginni is a very experienced kayak coach and guide with a wealth of knowledge and passion about the environment, geology, and astronomy, which she happily shared with us. The gear was top-notch, the organization was excellent, and it was impressive how she managed to feed 10 of us such... More

Sea Kayak Baja Mexico has started offering a 12 day trip from Loreto to La Paz that includes the island of San Jose. This is a beautiful trip and highly recommended. Our guides, Ramon and Edgar, did an excellent job along the way...organized, knowledgeable...good cooks, too. Sea Kayak Baja Mexico provides top notch sea kayaks and equipment. The trip is... More

Thank you Sondra for your glowing review, and for encouraging us to lengthen this trip in the first place! We'll offer it again because we like the extra time it allows for exploration, including the detour out to Isla San Jose, which I think is one of the most amazing islands in the Gulf. We're very proud of Ramon and... More

I attended Ginni's first ever Surf Camp and cannot say enough about the training/coaching (thanks Ginni, Marcos and Bonnie), the food (cooked every evening by the camp's owner from fish you saw brought ashore that day) and the supportive ambience of the group. The coaching (including frequent videotaping from shore) matched the diverse abilities of the 8 participants and I... More

Thanks for joining us for the very first Surf Camp, and for reviewing it. I'm very pleased that you enjoyed it. It's a special place I've been wanting to share with kayakers for a long time, not only for its learner-friendly surf break, but also for the interesting coastline, the hills and wide open spaces, the history, and the kindness... This is the place where folks who want an authentic kayaking experience go. Whether you are a novice, or seasoned paddler, SKBM has a trip for you. There are several levels of tours. Everything from a relaxing retreat, to "Challenge" tours for seasoned, experienced paddlers (the sort of person who would probably do a marathon if running instead of kayaking... More

Thank you for your glowing review! All these things you mentioned are the reason we're here--we love to share these experiences. From the amazing place itself--sea, land, sky, and the freedom & joy of exploring it; to the kind of equipment we also like to paddle (we have snobby tastes too, but in kayak gear); to coaching and feeling the... We were a group of 14 who had planned on kayaking and camping. Our plans changed when half the group came down with a virus and the winds kicked up. Ginny and her helpers were able to adapt to the changes in the plans with alternative tripso We were able to do a pre-dawn kayak trip to observe the five... More

Beautiful place, wonderful trip. Really well-organised, good trip pace for intermediate paddlers and plenty of things to see and do. At the end of the season, but the seabirds, desert flowers and clear seas were all worth coming for.
