I could have stayed all day.

This is the kind of place that you want to have brought a sack lunch. Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful flora.

Nothing is in English but you can figure it out. What I liked most was the HUGE boulders. There is a short trail up the hill beyond the gardens. The trees provide... More

it may be that February is not a good time to go to the botanic gardens as not much to see really it was like and very hot. It looked to me like the place was run down and in disrepair. I've seen the pictures on TripAdvisor and they look nice but the first week of February 2017 it does... More

You can feel like being in an oasis, delicious perfume from flowers, beautiful view of Acapulco from the hill. Volunteers are very kind and helpful, show you the way and a video is provided. Entrance fee very cheap.

A must see in Acapulco! Such a wonderful variety of plants in a natural setting. Gorgeous views of the water. Important for biodiversity conservation. Or just a beautiful stroll for anyone wanting to take in natural scenery.

The privately-financed Acapulco Botanical Garden offers a beautiful 30 minute walk among tropical plants from across the world, lily-covered ponds, jungle trees, and dense vegetation--all perfectly labeled and kept while preserving the sensation of being in a natural reserve. The site includes a bird watching platform, picnic tables, and souvenir store. Very accesible from the "scenic" road and worthwhile for... More

I spent about an hour today at the Acapulco Jardin Botanico on the campus of Loyola University of the Pacific. I wish Ihad budgeted more time because the tour was amazing and I was sorry to have had to cut it a little short. There is a four minute video in both English and Spanish that tells the story of... Not only were the variety of plants interesting, but the guide was very knowledgeable with the history of the many different plants.

We enjoyed this tour a lot...things really great things to see. Get there early to avoid the rush as many groups come and you need to wait for a guide.
