Beautiful cathedral, nice architecture and a nice place to sit a spell out of the sun. Be mindful this is a active place of worship, so be quiet and respectful when inside. It is situated next to a main plaza and local stores in central Mazatlan. easily accessible by bus or taxi

It was a beautiful cathedral and open to the public. It is in the center of town but, in a quiet neighborhood.

This church is amazing. Breathtakingly beautiful. It is quite large and the detail is amazing. It is very close to an outdoor market for souvenir shopping.

This is one of the best Cathedrals in Mazatlan. The interior is really gorgeous and the services are traditional. Just a note here, it is only good manners to wait until a service is done before entering, however, you are more than welcome to attend if you are there on time, BUT, it's good manners to stay for the entire... Built nearly 100 years ago, the building was put in place by the joint work of the Christian and Jewish Communities. While there is no Synagogue in the area any longer, the Jewish influence is more than evident in the... More

The Cathedral is beautiful and situated in a square with vendors of all sorts. Just down the street from the Cathedral is an indoor flea market and other shopping venues.

Our guide told the story of the building of the Cathedral and all the donations that were received to build it. Then you walk in and WOW! It is one of the most ornate cathedral's I have ever seen. Do not miss it!

We have been here 3 times before. The Achitecture outside is stunning. On entering you will be amazed at the Ornate and wonderful old and beautiful display of religious items . There is a sense of peace that you get, and a sense of history in this building. Everyone shows a sense of reverence on entering. It's a Spiritual not... More
