This is a beautifully restored Teatro. It seats 800 and offers a variety of entertainment. The ticket office is at the Teatro, which it located at the Plazuela Machado in el Centro. The seating is comfortable, air conditioned and clean. Tours are available in the day time. Well worth it to take in some fantastic entertainment.

So much history lies in the beautiful 800-seat Teatro Angela Peralta. The theatre is available for day-time tours if you are unable to attend an evening performance. It is home to the annual Fall Cultural Festival which most often features Mexican talent. The area surrounding the theatre boasts a vibrant arts scene and students of music and dance are always... Went to see local dance schools put on a show for the locals. It was well attended and very interesting. Prices are great and the venue is beautiful. Met an elderly lady who thought it wouldn't be safe for her to walk to her hotel alone after the show so we walked with her. She realized along the way how... More

The Angela Peralta Theater Opera House) just off the Plaza Machada, is a fun visit anytime. It would be wonderful to actually attend a concert there so check what is playing. The tour is 15 pesos and be sure to go upstairs from out in the courtyard to see various exhibits, the pictures of what it looked like just before... More

Once again we encountered this while on a walking tour. We were introduced to the pictures of how it looked before they had to restore it after a hurricane destroyed most of it. It still is in working order today for all to see and visit.

We have attended excellent Symphonies, concerts, plays & ballets, in this beautiful historic theater, several times over the past 25 years. It is located in lively "Old Mazatlan" with several restaurants in close proximity. It is an experience not to be missed!

This theater produces and entertains such a wide variety of talent, we're always excited to attend during visits. The building itself is an amazing piece of centuries old architecture.
