Long but awesome and very well maintained. Some lovely statues and a lovely natural swimming pool that’s free to visit, weather permitting..

The view, the sunset, and the atmosphere - asombroso! Walking the malecon at night is a great experience! Take time to enjoy good food, good vibes, and the ocean waves while learning some of the Mazarltlán history.

Absolutely stunning walk at sunset. Watch the Sun drop into the water at the horizon and it seems like you can here it "sizzle" as in dips below the water.
Lots of shops and street vendors along the way. You can even drop down to the beach level and enjoy a beer at one of the "local" huts.

Beautiful family friendly place to watch Pacific sunsets. Sit on the sea wall and interact with locals and other tourists. The lights come on right after sunset. During the day you can rent a bike and ride on the nice 15 mile bike path.

It's suppose to be up and coming. Wait 5 years after it is built up. Not very many restaurants and no shopping along the way. It's just a boardwalk that follows the shore with nothing to do along the way.

Looking from afar it feels like Miami. The beautiful coastline and modern buildings being built year round. Our cruise ship stopped here and we decided that this was the place. Lots of restaurants, bars, sculptures, etc are up and down the avenue. Enjoy!

Sidewalk is very wide, so allows for lots of people. It is newly resurfaced, smooth to walk on. The malecon in Mazatlan is 13 miles long beginning in Olas Altas and going north. This seawall is one of the longest seafront walkways in the world!

It's an amazing experience; the sunset does not ask for anything to other famous places in the world. Safe, clean, and fun

The Malecon is always a good visit. Right around the Carnivale, it is particularly pretty when the street is adorned with the different themes around at Carnivale. So don’t miss driving or walking by that time of the year and the themes always changed every year.
