Close walk to the market and famous church. Worth the time to spend here. There were also english speaking tour guides (volunteers) that helped us plan our day. Lots of fun!

Mazatlan is Extremely beautiful. Getting around on the local buses is the best way. They run frequently, and allow you the opportunity to see various sights. The old city and the Cathedral are a must see. Walking along the Malecon is amazing

Mazatlan's Malecon, we were told, is the world's longest. Unlike Puerto Vallarta where you can walk in a couple hours after stopping to view all the sculptures, in Mazatlan the 20 or so don't have a lot of interest in between them. Of course there is always the sea and on some side streets you will find an aquarium or... More

We returned to the Malecon Area of Mazatlan in April 2017. The views of he Pacific Ocean were amazing. The statues so fun to see. The weather was one of the best days we've had in Mazatlan. It was sunny, dry heat, and just superb. It made for a great day seeing the Malecon. There are cafes, stores, and other... More

The Mazatlan Malecon seems to go on forever. There are miles and miles of walkway along the beautiful sea. We were there during Carneval and the parade. If you get a chance this is something to see. There were hundreds of thousands of people watching the night parade which was all floats covered in lights.

This is a beautiful place for a jog, walk, or biking. Along the seaside with a wonderful breeze. Lots of places to stop and snap a photo.
