Fun Day, but . . .

In April of 2008, we participated in the Pathfinders dune buggy tour. While we had a great time, it was not what we expected. The only place I've found to prebook this... read more

I did this by myself as my wife was not interested in getting dirty, wet, and tired. Go figure. I had a lot of fun and the high point was going back and forth in the river at the end - a ball. The price is reasonable and the guide did well.

This was great time for my daughter and I. We traveled quite a bit and really saw quite a bit of the countryside. Some of the views were fantastic. Be sure and bring long sleeves, sunglasses and a bag for your gear as this is a messy good time.

We booked a tour at TREKS dune buggies, and had a blast. The VW powered sand rails were a blast to drive. We wound through PV for at least an hour to get to the back country of the Sierra Madre Mts. They issue goggles for your eyes and a scarf for your nose and mouth. Then crossing a river... More

What a disaster! My wife and I just returned from Puerto Vallarta (September 2008) after a week of sun, fun and humidity! We were there for a week, and it was fantastic...except for the three hours of time and $93 we lost on the Pathfinder/ATV Tour. What a total rip-off. We booked through Vallarta Online and the pics and description... More

My husband, 2 adult sons, and daughters (16&12) took this tour in June 2008. We had been to a wonderful dune buggy tour in the Dominican Republic last summer so Pathfinders had their work cut out trying to come close to that excursion experience. They failed miserably. The tour starts in town, travels through on a very busy highway and... More

In April of 2008, we participated in the Pathfinders dune buggy tour. While we had a great time, it was not what we expected. The only place I've found to prebook this adventure online is through VallartaOnline. It was advertised as an off-road trek through mud and dried up river beds, but much of the driving was on-road. The dune... More
