Beautiful Spot
Sep 2020 • Couples
Not sure why this place is getting dinged for such silly reasons. This is one of the nicest spots to sit and relax in all of Vallarta. The design for an outdoor small mall is incredible, with water everywhere, fish, turtles, lots of places to sit, a nice variety of stores, I'll be coming back many times over just to sit with the dog, read, and look at all of the beautiful waterways. In what mall do people see a waterfall flowing in the middle of the mall where they live?

Mac Store La Isla... Do not buy here!
Mar 2020
So we're in a pandemic, my flights have been cancelled and I spilled coffee on and killed my Mac computer. I called the Mac store in La Isla and was told I'd have to make an appointment to come see the repair person. Because I cannot communicate with the outside world I break isolation to go down there to buy another one. Because I forgot my passport they wouldn't accept my credit card and I had to buy a cheaper Mac book because that's all the pesos I had on me. They sold me the wrong adapter, they had to know it was the wrong one, and they didn't care. Mouse and adapters sold separately...and are very expensive. I make it work... but the new Mac is a piece of garbage. Barely works, no power, very slow... So I go back with my passport and credit card and buy the best MacBook they have. Bought the mouse, cables, adapters etc... waaaay overpriced... but what can I do? Another piece of garbage!!! My years old MacBook was light years ahead, faster, reliable. Within 2 days this piece of crap is freezing, hanging and giving me a white screen I can't get out of. They don't take exchanges or give refunds. Garbage. Garbage. Garbage. I am frightened and frustrated as you might be able to tell. If we survive the pandemic, take my advice... Do not buy anything there.

Welcome to America !
Mar 2020
Overpriced price American style mall design for the Tourist who want to pay more. No locals of shop here at all or expats either. Take a Uber go to the Pitillal, a traditional "colony" within Puerto Vallarta and shop there. Have the Uber drop you off at the Church of St. Michael and start there. Enjoy real Mexico and not some American style mall and save about 35%.

Very expensively built!
Feb 2020
For all the years we have been visiting Puerto Vallarta I only got around to see "La Isla Shopping Village " on this last trip.
Wow! Somebody went crazy with the expenses and the architect a bit more crazy designing.
There are these enormous tulips-like sculptures at the entrance, an underground parking, elevators and escalators, tiled sidewalks, koi ponds, turtle ponds with sculptured turtles/ working fountains. another pond for no reason and some coins, a water fall, a lot of decorations in landscaped areas, like birds from sticks and so many more expensive items in common areas....overdone....and many stores that are NOT doing well. There was a clearance of a clothing store. We could tell must of the stores if not all were not even making money for the rent. I am sure the rent is very high. There were not really good restaurants, we were there at lunch time and we made our way to Galerías Shopping Mall next to Liverpool since there was only a subway ( I do like them but as an emergency food in Canada, not on a holiday) and a Starbucks, we do not drink coffee. There was a ice cream stand and a snacks bar. Not a real restaurant...It was sad to see the how this idea has made many people loose money.
We are builders and can appreciate all that was around us...I think that if instead of stores they would attract restaurants...the entire mall would do better. They have the parking, they have all those common areas, escalators, elevators etc....I thought it was a great place for a nice meal...

I was looking for a nice pair of walking sandals, I do not remember the name of the shoe store but for something very ordinary and not that attractive they asked over $180 Canadian Dollars. I do wear good comfortable shoes like Easy Spirit, Naturalizer, Clarks, Flexi, but those were not great, looked cheap... and way overpriced.

Belen Delmar Boutique La Isla
Feb 2020 • Friends
Very nice mall with upscale stores. I loved the Belen Delmar boutique and the sister store next door. Their accessories are the “real deal”. Still regret not getting the earrings I found.

Very nice stores, not very accessible
Jan 2020
No ramps to get into the store and there is a curb to get up into them. The H&M had a elevator to the top floor was was nice.

Very clean, presents well. You can take a pirate ship boat ride around the grounds - just like the gondola ride at the Venetian Hotel in Vegas. Very experience stores but great selection.
