Walk the Malecon and side streets
May 2021
Some of the nicer shops on the side streets and it is less crowded than the Malecon but there are also some nice shops on the Malecon.

The Street Art is Amazing!
Jan 2021
This is a lovely part of PV to hang out. There is a town renovation project going on that is including street art. This is a wonderful idea. It allows you to walk up and down the streets looking for all the different murals discovering small shops and restaurants you would not have seen otherwise. My husband and I walked up and down these streets all day and never felt safer. Wear proper shoes, the pavement is cobblestone and the hills are mighty. Don't forget your camera. There is a photo op around every corner.

The Romance District - more energy
Nov 2020
We've stayed in the new hotel district. It just doesn't have a local feel. Town has it all: beauty, history, in trusice vendors. Just remember: "No Gracias".

Great Walk
Nov 2020
Nice walk through this area and worth checking out. Hubby and I didn't spend a ton of time here but we did stroll through. The church is worth checking out and going in to admire all the beautiful detail. Worth rolling into a day with Malecon and Zona Romantica.

Great night walks
Sep 2020 • Couples
Nice to walk. Especially at night. Much better than other parts of the city which are dirty and crowded.

Lots of hills and stairs....
Feb 2020
Really neat place to explore but you need to be able to tolerate hills and stairs. Or you could take a taxi up and walk down. Some beautiful haciendas up there!
