Just a walk around the marina

Marina is quite large and lots of shops as well as restaurants. Boats of every size can be admired. Ate at Victors and was very good.

There are several local shopping centers (plus Sam's and Wal-Marts close by. If you book a fishing tour, or any type of boat trip this is most likely were you will be leaving from. Taxi service is easily available.

It's a marina, a little bit off the beaten track from the rest of Puerto Vallarta which has an excellent art shop Galeria EM. Having a drink at the top of the lighthouse is certainly relaxing and exquisite otherwise, it's a marina.

The port is clean and the area is relatively quiet - not quite as much hustle and bustle as at some cruise ship ports. A nice bonus is a Wal-Mart supercenter about a five minute walk away where one can buy cabin supplies and the requisite vanilla and coffee at local prices. The walk is along busy streets, but there... More

The lovely beach area of Marina Vallarta is only a few minutes from the airport. This makes it very quick and inexpensive to reach on arrival. It is also only a 50 cent bus ride to downtown, making enjoying and visiting the wonderful Malecon and downtown attractions cheap and easy, unlike staying further out north of the airport in the... We had our own car so no help from taxi. We were doing a Vallarta Adventures tour. Their instructions were exactly clear but literally once you pass the guard gate you enter the port. There is the security screening inside. We drove past it thinking we were looking for more. The entry isn't well marked.

The marina is only 10 minutes from the airport. Really nice to take a stroll and see the beautiful boats. We have never really found a restaurant that we would specifically make a trip to but to stop for a drink and a quick app, they are fine. Nice shops just on the outside of the marina.

Ran into a few American expats living there full time or boating there for the winter. This place has everything you need - pharmacy, clothing, inexpensive restaurants and sports bars, Fishing charters, massage parlours, dentist, real estate office. Nice visit.

The marina in Puerto Vallarta is great. Everything is right there. Many of the day cruises and fishing excursions leave from here. There are beautiful yachts and sailboats, lots of eating outlets, coffee shops, and more.
