Welcoming people. You are free to visit - even during most services. But, please be respectful - while pictures are encouraged when service is not provided, do not take pictures, remove your hat and be quiet when service is in progress.

Beautiful and holy church. Many people visit here. Some stop and pray awhile others just look around at the ornate decor.

We went on a city tour with Victor, he took us all around the city of Old Puerto Vallarta He was very knowledgeable about this place and all the other locations he showed us. There was a Mass going on at the time show we were only allowed to look in for the doorway, boy it was spectacular. Highly recommend... More

The church is beautiful, you have a good probability of seeing a wedding there, it is in the downtown, with good shopping and restaurants (such as Pipi for seafood). On Sunday evenings there is a brass band in the Plaza nearby on the malecon.

This is much more than a church. It is a historic landmark, as well. And it is something to behold. The craftmanship and details are amazing. It just about made my wife cry, it is so beautiful!

While we've travelled the world and visited some of the most amazing cathedrals in Europe, there will always be something very special about this one.

The church is a central landmark in Puerto Vallarta. It's lit up at night, & we can see it from our high terrace. Frequently there is mass or a meeting going on inside.

We have visited this many times in the past 28 years, it is still a beautiful cathedral with lots of old world charm. The interior takes you back to old Mexico with lots of marble and gold. The main alter is stunning and the stained glass windows reveal many stories. This is a must see

I attended the Sunday morning mass on 2/11/2017. Officiated by a priest from the US, the service was partially in English and there were people spilling out the doors. Unfortunately the acoustics were so bad that the service was incomprehensible and I left mid-way. I was in a doorway and perhaps it would have been better (if even hotter) inside... More
