Touted as the “go-to” place for snorkeling, we were frankly a bit disappointed. First the restaurant hosts were pushier than the other beaches (and that takes a bit of doing) and the area gets a copious stream of visitors pouring off of the water taxis...More

We visited Playa Las Gatas during the day of Christmas Eve. Earlier in the morning it was less crowded but still hopping. By mid afternoon navigating was a challenge. Beach was beautiful, well protected and super kid friendly. Tons of activities in and out of...More

We went there for Carlos scuba, the beech is BUSY but lots of nice sand and clear water. Lots of boat taxis to take you there and back.

This is a beach that curves directly across Zihuatanejo Bay from the downtown area of the town. I loved the low key quality of the restaurants with their lounging beach chairs, where you can spend the entire day relaxing and swimming while ordering food and...More

You arrive to this beautiful destination via boat paying 50 pesos round trip. Once you get there everyone will tell you the lounge chairs are reserved. No one had room. It is a pretty crowded beach and no one has beach chairs available. Most restaurants...More
