Start at the river/pier and wander the path past the fishermen, restaurants, basketball court, and coastline. Lots of great people viewing. Great path that lets you get the feel of the city.

While not as action packed and busy as the Malecon in Puerto Vallarta, the quietness and lack of heavy foot traffic makes for a serene walk. From Paseo Del Pescador it winds around and ends near the Hotel Irma. Anyone who enjoys being able to...More

It's in bad need of a facelift. It needs some more lighting and the railings need to be rebuilt. But we still enjoy walking it a few times a day!

The malecón (beach promenade) seriously needs a work-over, it has got a lot of potential. Lacks good lighting and police presence after dark, needed because it is a nice place to stroll in the evening time

Decent walkway along the shoreline. Good way to soak up the salt air and sunshine. Easy walking and usually pretty quiet. Try to avoid the middle of the day as there is no respite from the sun if your tan is not up to date....More

It is a short little walkway joining the downtown beach to the next beach Madera. It is kept very clean and local students have put in signs to use the trash cans please.

This walk is a nice one that allows you plenty of space to walk with a walking partner. It is so close to the waves that you can feel the mist. It is a rather short walk for getting in your miles. But for a...More

We walked this area. It is uneven. Smelled of urine in spots. Nice view of the beach. You can get on and off in spots. It leads to a shopping area. Take water with you for the walk as there is no shade.
