I always take a city tour bus the first day in a new place. It helps me decide where I'd like to come back to and spend more time. The Tapatio buses provide a good overview of Mexico's second largest city. Ruta 1 covered Guadalajara city. Most of the sites which interested me were in walking distance of the Cathedral... More

We wanted to get to see many things and this helped. Some roads and turns seemed to be impossible for the bus, but driver was amazing. Headphones allow you to hear narrative in English. The map was confusing. We could not figure out which route we were on. We saw parts of the city you would not normally see on... More

For 120 MXN pesos about US$7 this was one of the best city bus tours I have taken with a few minor exceptions. Be sure to bring pesos as they give a bad exchange rate for dollars (10-1 instead of 17-1) and they do not accept credit cards. I found the bi-lingual staff to be friendly and helpful except for... We enjoy the ride on the bus, it's really good, the weather was amazing and Guadalajara is beautiful, the price is really reasonable but I think that they can make more improvements to the tour all the info was by a tape I think a real person would be better that way the tour would be more personal. But I... More

I've been on hop-on hop-off tours around the world, and always enjoyed them - but Tapatio Tour was terrible. We spoke to the reps several times, and before we began the tour asked about english translation. The rep just pointed at the street, and off we went with no translation. There weren't many stops and without understanding anything that was... More

I did both Tlaquepaque and Guadalajara tours. Tickets were easy to buy; about $6.50 for a day. I did start at the main historic church downtown. Audio available in multiple language. Bus is fine. They even offer seat cushions for extra comfort. I would recommend this.

You get good tour for low price, you go on 2-3 routes, for cheap you get to see guadalajara, tequila tour, and see several out of town in a comfortable tour bus. Staff was awesome and accomdating. Would definitely take again

I did Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque route. I't was interesting to see the city from the second floor of the bus. I brought my earphones because TA reviews mentioned that those you get from the driver aren't good. Mine were not working either. Probably their system has problems. So I enjoyed the tour in Spanish without understanding a word. Be aware... More

Hop on hop off type with 2-4 routes included in price which is very inexpensive as is everything else in this city. We did Guadalajara city and Tlaquepaque (which includes a tequila factory tour) tours. announced in Spanish but complimentary head sets have other languages. Tlaquepaque is a sort of self-contained area with shops, bars and restaurants of all shapes... More
