Great for younger kids, teenagers, and families. But unfortunately we have seen this type of tourist attraction elsewhere. Don't take this as a negative review because it is informative and entertaining. Not being totally fluent in Spanish did not help (others who totally understand Spanish may enjoy it more). My two cents, only.

this attraction is not worth your time nor money. don't let tour guide take you here. it is a very cheesy haunted house type attraction that does not have anything to do with the local culture.

You like scary haunted houses, and it's definitely not a place for small children. We walked in pitch dark. I was afraid I would trip (63 year old but active). And it smelled. 😟

Had lunch down the street and was walking by. It was one of the best haunted houses I've ever been in due to the creativity. Highly suggest it. It's about 15-20minutes. Very cute. Very dark. I was scared.

Maybe we had a bad guide but I was confused about many of the rooms down stairs. Very dark rooms no windows. Neat effects to scare people. Didn't feel authentic. Would avoid.

I was surprised at the other reviews, maybe we had an extra great experience because we went during the week of Dia de los Muertos, but it was a blast. We went late at night and it ended up being the freakiest haunted house we have ever been too. Coupled with the animated machines, there were people and cloaked beings... More

This place is definitely worth a visit, but it suffers from a common theme that I've noticed in Guanajuato- cheesy jump-scares and animatronic dummies. They could really do without those, because the property itself and it's history is creepy enough to be worth a visit. Now, if you don't speak fluent Spanish, you might be out of luck. My girlfriend... More

This museum is really set up as kind of a haunted house. The tour has some great information (all in Spanish, no translators provided...but frankly, you don't really need to hear all the info, you can probably find out most of what you want about the house on the internet). Most of the tour is done in dimly lit rooms... More
