Must visit while in Mexico City for it is one of the nicest park/gardens in the city we've visited and very clean and safe.

This large green area has everything from a botanical garden to long avenues of vendors, and is situated between Chapultepec Castle and the Anthropological Museum. You must walk through part of the park to get to the castle. At the foot of the hill up...More

The park is located in the Polanco area of the city. It houses the Castle, various museums, Botanical gardens, and other attractions. It is a very pleasant place to take a stroll.

Could walk around this park for quite awhile. It is very big, peaceful, and not too many people. Of course the castle is on top of the hill as well.

We went for a walk around the park at 8 am for an hour, waiting for the Anthropology museum to open, and it was brilliant. Full of early morning joggers, I recommend walking up to the Castle gates and taking in some brilliant views of...More

Visited it by a bike tour, worth experiencing the vastness. The shaded lanes were welcome respite from any heat. I will have to return for the Anthropologie Museo and the Castle.

I think one full day will be plenty ! Different days of the week will probably have a different atmosphere - Sundays more lively than other days perhaps !
