This incredible park and forest is a respite from the grand commotion and activity of DF. Many museums adnjeacent or in the park. Beautiful to stroll, sip a coffee or look at the people. Nice way to have a bit of the outdoors.

If you want to immerse yourself in the feel of Mexican family life, go to the park on a Sunday. The museums are all free, so it attracts family groups from all economic and social groups. There is a lot of music, vendors, and street performance. Yes, the museums are quieter during the week, but you don't even need a... More

Pretty park. Clean and safe. Vendors set up early to sell tacky trinkets. I do understand that there are so many street vendors in Mx due to trying to make a living without paying taxes to the government. There is plenty of time to see the park when you are walking from Chapultepec Castle to Anthro museum or to the... More

Beautifull park in the middle of Mexico City with lots of squirrels. Also nice for walking, biking, relaxing and visiting the castle. Some marketshops are around and there is a place where you can rent a litle boat. Nice art objects to see when you walk around the park

This place is one of the best places you can visit when you are in Mexico city. The park has a beautiful lake, gorgeous castle, and an amazing zoo. Outside in the park area, there are small businesses that sell traditional Mexican snacks, food, and clothing. I can seriously say my kids and I loved it! best of all we... More

Big, beautiful gates, big trees, vendors galore, museums, a zoo, and a castle! What's not to like? Great views from high above, so much to see, we had to break it into two days. Highly recommended.

It is surprising that such a large park exists not far from the heart of Mexico City. It is very close to a metro line & easy to access but I don't think there is a lot of parking nearby for cars. El parque is gorgeous on a nice day with many people relaxing on the grass or eating. The... More

Never in a million years would I have guessed that such a beautiful place existed in Mexico City! You can get lost there for hours and hours and hours! WOW! If you go to the CITY, YOU MUST VISIT IT! There are places to eat, sit and have a wonderful picnic with others or by yourself!

It's so easy to pass a lot of time walking through this park - there are numerous little spots to stop and look at sculptures, attractions, etc. There are also numerous vendors of food & kitchy merchandise, and botanical gardens too. I was really happy/surprised to see a special Canadian totem pole, provided for the 150th anniversary many years ago... More

Vendors everywhere selling everything, multiple museums, a castle, a zoo, and beautiful paths to explore with great views of the city at the top of the hill. A must when visiting the city.
