The park is huge, interesting grounds. You can find things to eat, buy nice handmade souvenirs. I bought a handmade bag for 200 pesos, 10 dollars. There are however a lot of vendors, toooooo many with cheap plastic stuff for kids, pink wigs, stuff I would see in a 99 cent store in N.Y. It was a bit noisey and... More

The park is at the foot of the Chapultepec Castle, so very hard to miss it. It is full of cute little squirrels, and if you are lucky you can get the squirrels to get close to you as well (even to feed by hand).

This park is a true oasis in busy Polanco. Enormous and sprawling, it has numerous historic points and buildings and miles of paths and roadways. Lovely trees and water features. However, the food/memento carts lining the main roads got to be tiresome. The vendors don't bother you but it really takes away from the experience.

Fantastic park. Easy to get to my metro and very pleasant. Very safe by day and with cultural, educational, artistic and athletic things to do. Just go!

My family and I have visited here many, many times. It never fails to impress. The architecture and views are visually stunning. The history interesting. The furry auburn squirrels that accost you on you windy walk up to the castle- somewhere between creepy and cute. It's a must see!

Many hectares of this park. Paddle boats, people watching and the fabulous zoo are all in one spot across from the archological museum.

I really enjoyed this park. I was in Mexico on business and really only had an afternoon to go out and explore. The park was within walking distance of my hotel. So much to see! And miles of walking! I was there on Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy with families. Wish I would have had more time. I'll... More

After spending a few months in the Baja desert, I was so thrilled to walk around a park with tall trees and shade! January in Mexico City is gorgeous and temperate, a perfect getaway from the US winter. I spent all day walking around and didn't see all the museums. So much to take in! I loved that some parts... Chapultepec park is a nice park in the middle of Mexico City. There you will find lots of trees, a lagoon, botanical gardens, zoo, and much more - including (of course) the Chapultepec castle. Spend and hour or two or stay all day.

If you would be tired of always noisy Mexico city - just know that right here is a place for recreation - Chapultepec park. It worth to visit in any day, take long walks though the woods, visit zoo or Palace, sust sit of lie on the grass... and you will be recharged for the next submerging into the urban... More
