Very quiet, safe and accessible. One can walk to the big parks and museums, and cabs to the zocalo area are plentiful and inexpensive. Some of the cabbies speak English, all we met were friendly and helpful

Public transportation is close by but if you do not want to face the crowded Metro or Metrobus, taxis are always available nearby. You can walk to a... More

We stayed in Condesa and couldn't have been happier with the choice. Lovely parks and walks- Parque Mexico and Parque Espana, Calle Amsterdam, all were totally pleasant. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Just a delight.

This is the best neighborhood to stay when visiting Mexico as a tourist. Quiet, but within walking distance to Chaputelpec, and some beautiful parks for strolling or exercising. Lots of great restaurants and bars....and very safe!

The Condessa is a wnderfully vibrant neigborhood of Mexico City. It is full of great restaurants, quaint shops and outdoor cafes. It is also a vibrant night spot with lots of different venues for music and dancing. If you go there, stop at El Ticoncito's for the best tacos al pastor you will ever have.
