Nice to visit the zoo. Especially the butterfly jungle. Some animals have smaller/basic caves that used for these kinds of animals on many European zoo’s.

Well maintained zoo which is open to public, great job Mexico. This zoo is located in Chapultepec Park so we covered it in the first half and walked up the hill to see the Chapultepec castle in the second half of the day. It was...More

This zoo is conveniently located in Chapultepec Park and is free, except for the butterfly pavilion. We came to see the pandas, but the rest of the zoo was nice. It is small enough to see in a short time, and there were animals that...More

The zoo had a fair amount of variety but the enclosures were tiny for some of the animals. As long as you’re okay with that it’s an okay park to visit. Admission was free but some of the exhibits cost money like the butterflies.

Visited Chapultepec Zoo today and was shocked. It is cruel to the animals and would be better off for the animals to be closed. Turtles in enclosures without water. Crow in open enclosures (small) with wings cut so it couldn't fly. Horrible conditions when so...More

This is a well organized zoo with a fair assortment of animals. Entrance is free, except for their insect and butterfly section. Animals are in decent cages, with some habitat like space.
