We spent hours there, very peaceful and beautiful. Visited all of the sights and different churches.

Not only is the virgin of Guadalupe an impressive building with the traits of earthquake and moving earth, it is peaceful and quite place worth spending some time.

My mom, aunt, and I took the purple line of the Turibus to make the trip out to this church. It is charming and beautiful. Worth the trip!

Used the hop-on-hop-off bus to visit the Guadalupe Shrine making it an easy trip to a busy site. A special and peaceful place with amazing history. We were even able to participate in the Good Friday service!

While the church is not the original where the cloth of the virgin was kept, the new one does justice and allows many people to pass by the image on the moving passage. You can often find a mass going on in the cathedral. You...More

One of the Basilicas in the world with more visitors. Millions visit Guadalupe each year. Unlike Basilicas and Cathedrals in Europe, it has no works of art, or other interesting things for people to see. However, if you would like to pray or see people...More

You don't have to be Catholic to enjoy a visit here!! This is an essential visit to understand the religious culture that is ingrained into the overall culture of Mexico. The site includes the old Cathedral that is sinking slowly into the earth. You'll note...More

It's not so far from the airport, but I can't tell you how much it is. I think Uber should be a good selection to do it.
