I liked the greenery and openness. The signage is excellent. Nice to wander around and relax under the shade trees. Good museum and gift store.

A must see when you go to Oaxaca. The turn down is the incredible amount of vendors trying to sell souvenirs. Bring some snacks of eat before heading here there is no food stalls or restaurant in there.

Your wife could walk to the centre square (about 600m up hill), into the main courtyard. From there you could see most of the site.
