Nocheztlicalli promotes and improves the production of Dye Cochineal and cactus to generate opportunities for vulnerable people from rural communities of Mexico. The Organization seeks to establish solid foundations to increase the production of Dye Cochineal as a social development initiative. Tour in Spanish is on Monday and Saturday, at 9 am a 3 pm. Cost is 50 pesos and is one hour long. You learn a whole lot about the dye cochineal.

This little out of the way spot is well worth a visit if you've ever wondered where those brilliant red dyes come from.
