On the day we were there it was a little chilly and windy. Not the best day for a beach trip. But it was our last day in Cancun and I wanted to take a trip to this beach. From the parking lot, if you walk down to the beach and turn right, you will see the Casa Maya hotel.... More

Nice beach, perhaps one of the best in Cancun. I liked it because there were not so many tourists - mostly Mexicans. No shaddow of course, but you can rent umbrella. No worry for food and drink - there is a bar....

Playa Langosta is a clean, relaxing, family friendly public swimming beach (no fighting the waves). It is a very calm clear Caribbean blue water to go for the day and enjoy. We were there during the holiday week and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Tip - go to hotel Casa Maya on the right or east side of the beach from... More

Another beach located @ the north - there are birds around and you can enjoy the sea breeze at the same time see the boats around here too.

I absolutely loved this beach! Mostly locals. Hardly any tourists. Uncrowded. No loungers. Palm trees for shade. Beside ferry dock. Warm, calm, shallow water. Great for small children and families. You can get a small table with umbrella. Bar and restaurant short walk away.

This is the perfect beach to go to during a weekday especially after 10am. It's very calm and friendly. Good after 10am because the boats that pick up tourists leave the dock at this time and the beach is left in good silence. It's also a good beach to visit as you first arrive Cancun. Don't forget to bring your... More

A peaceful spot to consider if you want to escape from crowded, noisy beaches full of spring-breakers. It's a public beach located on the hotel zone, and it's very easy to get there by bus (route 1 and 2 run frequently, every 5 minutes).

Walking distance to night life in Hotel Zone in Cancun. The location has the best beaches, views, and short rides to incredible diving and snorkeling. Short Ferry ride to Isla Mujeres island for a day trip.
