This park really doesn’t have much about it, yes there are slides and a large wave pool, but to use the lazy river you have to pay to rent a rubber ring which would be unheard of at a park like this in Orlando (which has far better water rides than this place). If you’re visiting Cancun, this experience really won’t be one of the highlights you’ll talk about to friends back home. As Cancun is a premier holiday destination I expected its only water park to at least be as good as Brits might be used to finding in Spain, like Aqua Park, Aqualand etc etc, but this wasn’t the case. We took the earlier bus back to the hotel.

My daughter and I went to Wet'n Wild on November 22, 2019. We had made an excursion in a submarine that morning to see the MUSA statues and the undersea life, but I had not realized that the vessel was going to tip back and forth the whole time. Both of us got very seasick. After we got back to shore, she recovered quickly, and after about an hour I felt better, well enough to go to Wet'n Wild as we had planned. My daughter is nineteen and has autism. When we planned our trip to Mexico, going to Wet'n Wild was her number one preference, at the top of her list of places she wanted to go. We took a taxi, and by the time we got there, I was feeling almost back to normal. When we entered the park, we met the manager, Mr. Francisco Manzo, and he walked beside us and showed us where the restaurant was. Unfortunately, i have multiple sclerosis, and once I sat down I started to feel dizzy and nauseated again, when I had thought that the seasickness had ended. I thought I'd just rest for a few minutes and told my daughter to go to the buffet and serve herself what she wanted to eat. I wasn't hungry, but thought I'd feel well enough to keep going after resting in the shade of the restaurant for a while. But when I stood up, I not only couldn't walk straight, but my legs were uncontrollable and went out far to the side when I tried to walk. I had no idea what was going to happen, if the symptoms would clear or get worse. Once many years ago, my left arm and leg were paralyzed for a month in an attack, but that was the only time I have ever experienced paralysis and complete inability to walk even holding onto things for balance. I was dismayed, frightened, and didn't know what to do. We could have taken a taxi back to our hotel, but then my daughter would have been distraught at missing the experience she most wanted to do on our trip.

I told a waitress that I felt very ill, dizzy and nauseated, and unable to walk. She asked if I wanted her to call a doctor, but I said there was nothing a doctor could do to help me. She notified Mr. Manzo, who came immediately and showed great concern. He called for a wheelchair and helped me into it. I told him I'd be glad to pay for whatever we needed, but he said that he would not accept any payment, being primarily worried about my health. He gave me bottled water, saying it was important not to become dehydrated in the heat. He asked for a couple of employees to come, and he asked them to take my daughter around the park, accompanying her on all the slides and other activities, while another pushed me in the wheelchair. I don't remember the name of the young woman who was with my daughter for a while, but the young man who spent the most time with her was Carlos Enrique Balán Paredes, who showed the most exceptional friendliness and kindness toward both of us. He took her to all of the attractions at the park, going down the slides with her, and going into the wave pool and down the lazy river with her. She was very happy and had more fun than she would have it if had only been with me (and I wouldn't have gone down the slides with her).

And then, as the highlight of our afternoon, Mr. Manzo asked if we would like to go to the dolphin show, Dolphinaris. We had not paid for that, but Mr. Manzo said he thought we'd really enjoy it. So I was pushed in the wheelchair into a shady location, and my daughter was seated in the front row of a spectacular show with beautiful, well-cared for dolphins performing amazing feats! During the show, the announcer offered a "special greeting for their friend Cecilia" ! Afterwards my daughter was taken to the edge of the pool to pet one of the dolphin performers!

We were there for a couple of hours, and by the end of that time, I was recovering the normal use of my legs, which was a tremendous relief, as I had been wondering if it were going to ruin our trip. I am more grateful than words can express at the compassion that those working at Wet'n Wild showed to us, their generous provision of all that we needed for a wonderful afternoon which we will never forget! I caught the flu on a plane going home and then was very busy with my home translation, but wanted to describe our experience here so that readers would realize that not only is this a fun park, very clean, colorful, attractive, and well-organized, but the people were all kind, friendly, and, as you can see, very compassionate. I don't think we would have been shown this profound consideration and kindness if this had occurred anywhere in the US. Muchísimas gracias por todo lo que hicieron por nosotras, y ¡un saludo especial al Señor Manzo y a Enrique Balán! ¡Nunca los olvidaremos!

Kids swam with dolphines and swam afterwards in the park
Aug 2018 • Family
A little disappointing due to the size of the park as the one in Florida on International Drive is 3 times as big.

Advice : dont walk around bare foot, as ground is way too hot you will potentially burn your feet.

The dolphine experience was amazing for the kids. But the cost of the photo's is quite pricey and very little offered by way of deals, little choice on food if you have a wristband there is only apparently 1-2 places you can use your wristband to get an alcoholic drink.

Place is swarming with ants, and birds in the restaurant where my son unfortunately had a bird poo on his lunch whilst we saw the funny side it was frustrating no appropriate netting is put up to defer them.

Variety of activities but not everything open
Aug 2018 • Family
We visited as part of an excursion from local hotel.
When first arrived 10.30am was surprised that alot of the activities were closed and only opened at 2.30pm which was a shame as we had to leave at 4pm.
The water slides were all fun along with the climbing activities. We ate in the all inclusive restaurant which was pretty basic and slightly disconcerting the amount of birds flying around inside and dive bombing the tables to steal food.

Day out at Wet an Wild, nown known as Venture Park
Jun 2018 • Family
Me my family had a great day out, we booked through the resort (Moon Palace)
However, we decided to do the upgraded VIP, where you can visit all 3 parks, but only stuck to wet an wild as it was 31c so was very hot, you also get an eat as much as you like buffet aswell as an open bar, which was worth it for 3 adults
The park has a lot of slides an wave pools which my daughter enjoyed very much
I had a go on a few of the slides then decided to cool of at the open bar :)
We had a great day, an it was a change from the beach an resort, if you have kids opt for the VIP package as you can use the go-carts, get a cool drink whenever you want, also visit the 3D amusement arcade, they have some great games that will definitely keep your teenagers busy.
PS: Not many pics, we was to busy enjoying ourselves, its not the best I've been too
However it still packs a punch

Dolphin swim was brilliant!
Jun 2018 • Couples
The dolphin swim was a 10/10 well worth the money, we were in small groups which was great and felt like we spent a lot of time with the dolphins and the trainer was brilliant we did the first swim of the day at 10am and I We didn't spend long in the actual park after the swim as there wasn't that much to do, the kids area looked really good but we were 2 couples we went on a couple of slides and spent some time in the wave pool and seemed quiet which was a nice time to do it. headed home on the bus at 2pm, we could have stayed till 5 but didn't feel there was enough to do to keep us occupied. There's plenty of extras, zip wires and rides that we were told about but we were never told they cost extra before we went only found this out when we tried to get on, it was an extra 20dollars per person to go on the zip wire which I felt was extreme. The park gets a 3 for us but the dolphin swim made the day for us.

not the best place to spend a day
Jan 2018 • Couples
Unfortunately the weather was not the best so made for a poor outing....wet and cold... Seems a little over priced for the activity and becomes boring quickly. Transportation by bus was ok but a little long in wait time. Over all a day at the beach would have been a better choice. Not many people were there.... 80% empty.
