$19 round trip at the dock. You can return anytime until 9:00 PM I believe, so spend the whole day at Isla Mujeres, a nice change of pace from Cancun. You can ride in the air conditioned comfort down below or catch some sun on the upper deck. Drinks are available at a cost. They will offer to sell you... More

We used the fast ferry to travel to Isla de la Mujeres. This particular ferry leaves from Puerto Juarez in Cancun area, For less than $10 you can purchase a roundtrip ticket to this island off the coast of Cancun. The ride is smooth and quick and there seems to always be a guitar playing Mexican balladeer on board to... More

Decent trip to Isla Mujeres. Seas can be rough during the spring season. Sit up front inside where the A/C is going. One one bathroom on the boat. About 30 minutes to the island. I will say that on the island, people are pretty nasty about cutting in line to get on the boat. $19 US at the time pp... More

Very nice and the price wasn't bad. A/C on the inside or you can ride up top. Took about 15 minutes to get there.

I think this ride is nothing special really. It was an easy way to go from Cancun to Isla Mujeres. Maybe a bit expensive, I believe it was 19 dollars for a round trip.

Seeing the mixed reviews here, it probably depends on where you board. See the other reviewer warning about Plaza Caracol. Staff here were not only unhelpful, but outright rude. One clipping her nails behind the counter couldn't be bothered by customers. The one who took cash/tickets scowled and slapped items down on the counter without any sort of greeting or... More

Ok, so it is a simple shuttle from Cancun to the Isla Mujares. It is fast and convenient from the Cancun side to the Isla side. It is a bit disorganized on the return trip, so leave yourself some extra time.

Site says children between 6-11 years pay "minor" fare but in realiy, Ultramar have a finer print that indicates - if your child is 1.2 meter tall (3'10" tall), they pay a full rate. Most kids that are 7 years and older tend to be taller than 1.2meter. Ultramar - Just set a fixed rate so no one is caught... More

Took this ferry from its terminal in Puerto Juarez. The terminal have several stores including the convenient store Oxxo. In a store seemingly filled with souvenires, you find the ticket sales. To get to this terminal from Cancun you can take yellow buses on Av. Tulum (near ADO bus termial), costing 8 pesos. From the ferry to Cancun you can... More

We used the ultramar ferry on Lopez Portillo on our last trip to Isla Mujers and it was so much easier, as well as cheaper than the last time when we went through the hotel zone terminal.
