Mile after mile of hotels, restaurants, and shopping. This is the main drag in Cancun. Very well maintained. Manicured and clean. The heart of everything.

We had our hotel on the complete end of the strip at km 20 Westin Cancun. So we had to take the bus every time to go down town. The buses are easier to catch than taxis. At they cost 1$. The drivers are very friendly and helpful. We were with a baby and a stroller, it took some time... More

Take the bus from your hotel to shop. It's pretty fast at night but during rush our it gets crowded and there is a lot of slow moving traffic when you get close to the area where the nightlife is located. Also at night that area gets very crowded. There are high end stores like Gucci, Louie Vuitton, and many... More

Buses truly run every 2-3 minutes per day and drivers have change - just make sure you know what the true fare to be paid is,... More

This is the main road that runs through the hotel zone in Cancun. The road is clean and has well maintained pavement. You can catch a local bus to go up and down or even to downtown. There is not much to do or see unless you end up in the north part of this "strip". There they have street... More

This is the main boulevard in the hotel zone. It is 4 lane divided boulevard, tree lined and nicely landscaped, clean and well maintained. Most of the better hotels and resorts line the boulevard's 20+ kilometers. Most of the better restaurants in Cancun can be found along this route along with several of the higher end shopping malls. Taxis and... More
