The pyramid is impressive, but was amazed by the size of the whole site than the pyramid itself. Unfortunately, they don't allow people to go up any more. If you visit, go in the morning and go to the pyramid first.

The highlight of a visit to Chichen Itza but the rest of the grounds are also quite impressive and extensive. Horribly crowded though.

You shouldn't miss this place, it's an authentical jewel, wonderful architecture complex. If you go with a guide, better, because he/she can explain you about the temple, 91 steps each face, summarize 364, plus the base step is 365. Maths, astronomy, secrets and details can...More

Amazing structure with incredible history (provided by tour guide). A must see...but be sure to bring ample sun screen, hats and water to manage the heat!

This is the main building at the Chichen Itza site. Lots of other things to do there, and lots of people wanting to sell stuff.
