This is not a Cathedral but a large Catholic parish church. We attended 10 am Mass; clearly a "children's Mass" with lots of attention to the younger people present. Lively music with most of the mass done in Spanish. One reading is in English but they provide a test of all the prayers and readings in both languages.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. So many pink and white carnations on the altar, pillars, and every area in between. We were given the readings and responses in English, in a pamphlet, when we entered - very helpful to follow along. Went to confession - bilingual priest, very compassionate! Absolutely loved everything about his holy place.

The priest talked very fast, some pews didn't have kneelers, but as an American who didn't know Spanish, I did a good job of keeping up with the Mass. Very spiritual, beautiful. I am so glad that being Catholic, this was my church, even though I live in Missouri.

A very pretty church and well worth visiting. We were there over Easter and a lovely week of services.

The picture of the yellow washed building is correct while the large red cathedral does not exist on the island. This Catholic Church is quite beautiful with nice Carribean touches such as the shell shaped Holy Water containers. They do try to accommodate non=Spanish speaking visitors by providing many of the prayers and readings in written English. Also several times... More

I speak Spanish, and I have attended mass at this church for the experience. I like the place. It is the real town of Cozumel and a great place to meet local people. Come on TA, there are two pictures here. The Corpus Cristi church is the YELLOW chuch in the picture. If you stay at the Coral Reef Inn,... More

It's very authentic and local. It's just a lovely spot to see. Especially if you're needing a break from the beach. If you want a true feel of local cozumel culture then stop by and check this gem out!!

The picture of a romanesque style cathedral that appeared on Trip Advisor is wrong. I have submitted a photo of the cathedral that I visited on October 25, 2014. The cathedral is a spacious building but not a spectacular one. It is not ornate. I felt it was worth seeing and my wife and I took the trouble to walk... More

You truly feel like you're part of something bigger when you are inside the hallowed walls of this church.
