When we come to Cozumel and want to snorkel we come to Playa Corona. This trip we saw a ray, lots of fish, all different species, one fish we have not been able to identify. The best thing are the staff and owner. Friendly people, great prices, snorkeling is free if you have your own equipment. Will be back on... More

The drinks were too expensive. We stopped to have a few drinks. Fortunately, we stopped at the bar first before finding a table and paid in pesos for our first two drinks. The total came to 280 pesos for 2 Tecate beers. I do believe that was the most expensive beers we purchased on the island all week.

We loved snorkeling here! It is more low key than some of the other beach clubs. The food was just so-so but I'd come back for the snorkeling!

Because of storms the night before dirtying the waters at Playa Palancar, We moved closer to town to Corona. The water was clear, the snorkeling was very good surprisingly (from off the beach – a plus), and we played volleyball. It is not the most attractive area, but it serves our purpose well for snorkeling, cokes, and even played a... More

This was our second stop of our day in Cozumel. We LOVED it. Quiet and not crowded, which we wanted. Snorkeling was great and so were the drinks. Delicious salsa! Very relaxing and beautiful.

Menu prices are already super high for Cozumel without deception. Server miscalculated our bill by about $15 USD. We were the last people there and there was a lot of posturing and intimidation involved in resolving this issue, as if it was a negotiation. Had to patiently wait while server slowly recalculated our bill on a handheld calculator. Directly after... More

We went to Playa Corona for a second time on a recent cruise. It's an easy, inexpensive cab ride from the port. We like Playa Corona because even when it’s a crowded day in port, Playa Corona is quiet. Most cruise passengers choose the larger, more popular beach hangouts. Playa Corona is not the best location if you want to lay... More

A convenient stop for snorkeling. No admission fee but pressure to purchase food. No lockers, but our stuff stayed safe. Would that always be the case?

We stop here many times during our visits to Cozumel. Service, food, and drinks are awesome. The wait staff is very friendly. Great snorkeling area too! Or, just lay in the sun in a peaceful setting.
