We were on the Carnival Vista and had a port day in Cozumel. We booked a driver for the day through Tours Plaza. Punta Sur was on the top of our list to visit. We arrived at Punta Sur and were surprised by how huge and unspoiled it was. It is more like a National Park in the US than... More

This excursion is a must ...it offers quite a lot of different types of experiences: You can climb a lighthouse, learn about the maritime history of Cozumel visiting the on-site Museum, go to the lagoon to catch a glimpse of the crocodiles and of course since you are in Mexico for your convenience there is a Tequila tasting shoppe. Our... More

Worth the admission price. Big tour groups circle through the park rapidly, but we just went directly to the snorkeling area. It's a long swim out to the reef, but it goes on for the full length of the point. Cold water the day we were there. You'll need a life jacket and fins. Great lemonade, guac, and fish tacos... More

Definitely worth the admission price. Have visited on both of my visits to Cozumel. Plan to spend all day if possible!

The Beach and Lighthouse are worth the short trip to the south end of the island. Thankfully this large eco park has been set aside as a municipal park to protect the most gorgeous part of Cozumel from development.

Not much to see or do here. A couple of pushy beach bars with overpriced drinks. The public beaches just up the road are as good or better.

We travel often to Cozumel and this is one of my favorite spots on the island. I love the views from the observation tower and lighthouse. The waves and the beach are simply gorgeous. We saw roseate spoonbills on this trip.

This park was well worth the money. We travelled in a rental car all thru it. We climbed the lighthouse at the end of the road that provided an excellent view.

We paired up with another couple and drove a Jeep (rental) to Punta Sur. Our group parked on a dirt road and walked into a preserve that held crocodiles. After about 30 minutes and a rapid fire picture taking season, we drove to a light house and then went to a nearby beach to snorkel. I had a wonderful time... More
