This small beach area has a restaurant and patio bar and beautiful gardens on a hillside. The views are gorgeous. It is relatively inexpensive and worth visiting for snorkeling off the shore. I recommend bringing your own snorkeling gear as the stuff they rent out is for kids and doesn't fit well on adult faces. A great place to relax... More

Cant say enough about this place...perfect, peaceful snorkeling area with a wonderful restaurant and bar.. You pay an affordable fee for chairs, towels and equipment..It's older but so quaint and awesome.

Well, it's not glamorous or ritzy but it's just what you need for the beach. Facilities could use an upgrade but the price is right. It's 50x cheaper than the park next door and whatever services you want you can purchase. Restaurant is quite good also. Going back tomorrow!

We really wanted to snorkel but didn't want to support the gigantic conglomerate place with captive dolphins that has the best access to the reef here. This place is the answer! Small entrance fee, nice casual bar/restaurant, snorkeling gear rental available, beach chairs with umbrellas, and service on the beach for drinks and food! We went twice and each day... More

My family and I went here one afternoon to snorkel, build sandcastles and relax. The price can't be beat, and it was very convenient to the Sotavento Condos, where we were staying. The water is aqua, clear and warm. Although the reef is dead, there were still some colorful fish there. Nice place. We wanted to return, but the sea... More

$70 ($3.50) peso to get in, way better than the $75 dollar place next door. We paid the small fee and got to use lounge chairs and an umbrella. Snorkeled for a couple hours and relax. Changing room and bath rooms were clean. We saw lots of different kinds of fish, but not as many as last time we were... More

We went back twice. Had been there before on a previous trip. It is like it ever was. Admission is now $70 pesos ($5 us) to get in but the chairs / etc. are then all included. Its a NICE small beach with beautiful water on the south end of the island... just north of the much more expensive Garrafon... More

Much cheaper than the big pass next door. Sweet, little beach, nice umbrellas, plenty of seating. Brought a piece of bread snorkeling and the fish swarmed us, was great fun!

We stopped in for the afternoon to snorkel after spending a couple of hours on Playa Norte. When we arrived, the lady noted that there might not be any available chairs / umbrellas which were supposed to be part of the 70 pesos entrance fee - but that we were welcome to go look and then decide (really liked that... Perfect. Typical feel. Good snorkeling. Awesome service (how can he run like this all day in the hot sun!). We truly enjoyed our day with the kids. We could let them play around and dive with the rented lifevest.
